This is a really nice model 38. Still in the original box which is in good condition but does show some wear around the edges. The gun is in excellent condition and barely has a wear line around the cylinder. I'll say a conservative 98% over all with good grips. the smudging in some of the pictures is where I wiped it down with my oil rag. Didn't notice it till I saw the pic's. Box still has paperwork and cleaning kit. I will be glad to send additional pictures. It has been to a gun show which is why it currently has a zip tie in it. Asking $550 but will consider an offer. Shipping will be whatever it cost me or if you are in East Tennessee we can a face to face. Not really needing any trades right now as I need to develop some Christmas cash.
Well just learned something new. This gun apparently is a lightweight model. Someone asked and I didn't know so I tried to stick a magnet to the side of the frame. It would not stick so I assume it is aluminum. I don't know my Smiths that well and all the gun said was model 38. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Not trying to hide anything just wasn't aware.
