Not in a big rush to get rid of this beautiful Highway Patrolman, as it's quite nice and I am fond of the old N-frames...but I figured I'd see what was out there.
This is an excellent condition 4" Model 28-2 with equally nice magna stocks. It has no rust or pitting and very little wear, just from storage. There's barely even a turn line. Bore and chambers are perfect, action is smooth and still as tight as you'd expect from a new gun.
Came from an estate sale where the original owner had the gun in a rug for it's entire life, only ever firing a box of ammo through it. rIt's as close to new as you can get without being NIB...no box or papers though, sorry.
Mostly looking for, in like-condition, a
CEN-prefix Model 640, a
3" Model 65 or a
2.5" - 4" Model 66. Not really interested in anything else or selling outiright, as (like I said) I don't have any issue holding onto this nice N-frame.
Thanks,
-Rob
