I have a matched pair of Uberti Model 1873 Colts in 45colt (LC), 5-1/2" barrels, case hardened frames. The serial numbers are special in the fact that they both have the same numbers, the only difference is one starts with an "R" the other starts with an "L" for your right and left hand respectively. Original boxes and paperwork. I bought them from an individual (if memory serves me) who claimed he had never fired them, I in turn have never fired them. I am mainly interested in trading them off for something that I will actually fire. I think roughly $1200 trade value is fair.
What I really want is a Browning (pre tang safety and rebounding hammer) copy of the Winchester 1886. I would prefer the octagonal rifle variant, but could be happy with the carbine version.
Other interest would include a Uberti 1860 Henry rifle or an 1873 rifle. Preferably in 45colt.
I also have a soft spot for double action pinned and recessed S&Ws and Colt revolvers, and Colt 1911s.
Ideally I would like to workout a face to face trade in SW Texas.
Asking $1100 Cash price for a face to face transaction to an individual with a CC permit, but again I would prefer to workout a trade.
I'll upload pictures when I can, in the meantime here is a picture the previous own took of the same guns before I bought them.
