Default FS: 629-2 Mountain Revolver 4 inch (SPF) and 44 3rd Model HPD (SOLD)

For sale are a couple used S&W's. Prices including shipping to your FFL. Please post an "I'll take it" followed by a PM. Of course, forum rules apply. If you are purchasing discreetly, after the obligatory 24 hour period has passed, then please send me a PM that says I'll take it. I take various forms of payment so just let me know what you would like to do. I'm sorry but I am not interested in trades on these pistols. As for condition, see the pictures and read the descriptions please. I don't do percentages on finish because opinions can vary, again see the pictures (including the attached links to albums). Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have questions, especially before committing to buy.

1. SPF 629-2 Mountain Revolver round butt with four inch lightweight barrel, factory chamfered cylinder. This gun shows use, but still in nice shape. The grips have seen better days with various booboos (see the crack on the bottom) and I have no idea if they are original to this gun. Paint on the front sight, not original . Lock up is great and the bore is perfect. Almost kept this one for myself. No box or tools. Honestly, my price may be way off as I couldn't find any great comparisons here on the forum or on other sites. Always will to entertain reasonable offers. Price: $1150. REDUCED to $1000. How about $875. SPF

2. SOLD 44 third model with 5 inch barrel, marked HPD (houston police dept). Also known as Model 1926 or Wolf & Klar model as this is likely one of the 300 that was sent to the Houston PD, but no letter to 100% confirm. This gun has been used and poorly nickeled including the trigger and hammer. I know many of these guns had this treatment as they were well used. The grips are obviously not original and are slightly short for the frame. Nickel is peeling in many spots. This would be a great one to restore. Price: $850. SOLD

Thanks again for the interest.
