~ Made in 1966, complete with its original box and test target! ~
I am offering my Colt Python made in 1966. It is all original and appears to have been fired only little. The metal is almost like new. The grips show some light marks and slight finish wear. This one really challenges my photography skills, and I apologize for lint seen on the metal finish
This Python comes complete with its original box and test target. The box and target are genuine, not some fake off eBay.
All original finish throughout - beautiful deep mirror high polish deep blue. Never messed with. The bore and chambers are
absolutely perfect - mirror bright like the day it was made. Lock up and timing are right. The trigger pull is like silk. Yes, this pistol has been shot some, and there are some slight marks to the wood. It won't be hurt by some use as the years go on.
This represents Colt's best effort in revolver production from a time when hand-fit quality was still the benchmark. It is very difficult to photograph something like this. It seems that lint and other "stuff" just appear out of nowhere. Everything is exaggerated by the camera lens and bright lights. This gun is exquisite in hand. Remember, it is 50 years old this year. Where will you find another package like this?
I have neither disassembled nor fired this revolver.
$3,775.00 shipped and insured by USPS to your 01-FFL. It does qualify as C&R, but shipping to a C&R will be additional cost because of the requirement for overnight shipping by FedEx or UPS (USPS not available to C&R). USA only!
