Research indicates some of these were produced in 3" as a choice for their officers. The only indication is the presence of an armorer's star stamped inside the crane. My uncle passed before Thanksgiving, and this was the only gun in the home.
The pictures aren't the best at showing its excellent condition. It appears to have never been fired. There's no sign of lead or carbon around the forcing cone, and clear bore. Under the RH stock panel, I can see a few tiny spots of patina, that's it. The DAO action is shockingly smooth and light, rivaling any S&W. This is just the gun, as there I could find no other provenance with it.
I will absorb the shipping directly to your FFL in the conus for a USPS M/O of $650, or P/P of $675.
