Default FS - As New in Box 686-6 W/Culinas

***Plus extras***

I am the original owner of this 686. I decided after purchasing it that I was not happy enough with the current production S&W revolvers, so I modded this one a bit:

1. I have added English Walnut Culina combats to it...this is the most obvious.
2. I added an older-style S&W thumb piece.
3. I gave the revolver a light polishing...this is not a true mirror polishing job, but I didn't like the factory swirling in the finish so i took most of it out.
4. I added a 13lb Wolff rebound spring and smoothed out the trigger just a bit. I didn't want to file through the "case hardening" on the MIM parts, so this gun didn't get as much attention as my 20+ other S&Ws and dozens that I've done for other people.

After years, it continues to sit in my safe as I just don't really have the fondness for it that I should. This revolver has had somewhere between 250-300 rounds through it. I am offering it for sale in order to fund the purchase of an older model 686.

It shoots fantastic. I just prefer older Smiths.

I am willing to let the buyer do a full-inspection of my work with a three-day period for a full refund upon return.

It comes with absolutely everything that it left the factory with, including the old rubber grips (Culina's will remain on the revolver, and are part of the purchase)...except for the factory angled thumb piece...I am most positive that I threw it out.

It is in 99% condition.

***Asking $825 shipped to your FFL within CONUS. If your FFL requires that it come from another FFL, that will be another $50. I will not ship to states where this transaction is not legally allowed. First "I'll take it, gets it". All other forum rules apply. Payment by Certified bank check or USPS MO only. Buyer to get all of my contact information for his protection.
