WW2 Winchester M1/M2 carbine, in legal semi-auto configuration, with Korean War rebuild SA52 barrel.
We have been hit with some more unexpected dog medical bills here at "Wolf Creek Dog Rescue", the rescue/shelter/sanctuary we run for medium and large dogs, and wolfdog hybrids.
So I am putting my last M1 carbine up for sale to help cover some of these expenses.
There are NO import marks on this rifle. It is NOT one of the more recent ones sold by CMP.
It's a late WW2 Winchester with a Springfield Armory 1952 dated barrel - this is an original SA52 barrel, not one of the fakes with bogus markings that were being pimped off a while back by some of the more shady M1 carbine parts dealers.
Most major parts - receiver, stock , handguard, trigger housing, operating slide - are original Winchester. Bolt is one of the Korean or Vietnam War era military issue replacements with the "W in a circle" white paint marking.
Receiver is M1 marked, not M2, so no issues there.
Overall very good condition, I think there are a couple small scattered pits in the barrel but it has bright, shiny, sharp, clean, rifling with a tight muzzle - not shot-out or worn at the muzzlelike a lot of M2 carbines.
There are scattered areas of light old pitting on the receiver under the military refinish Parkerized finish, I have tried to show these in the photos but they don't show up real well.
I will have to check to see what the internals are, I think a mixture of WW2 Winchester and Inland with some post-WW2 RIA. Trigger housing and slide are late Winchester M2.
NOTE: The hammer is a standard M1 hammer and there is no disconnector block, plunger, and spring, so this rifle is in legal semi-automatic configuration, and the "walking beam" only serves as to pin the trigger housing to the receiver.
Stock is original Winchester M2 potbelly, has harder, more water resistant, and more durable Korean War era tung oil finish like late M1 Garands - original WW2 finish would of course have been boiled linseed oil.
Comes with an aftermarket 10 round magazine. The buttstock pouch and magazine in the gun in the photos is not included.
The sling is an excellent condition post WW2-Korean War era version with the heavy brass D endcaps and rectangular brass buckle. I will have to check the markings on the oiler.
Price is $1,300 + shipping, where legal.
I'm only selling this to raise funds for the dog rescue, so no trades.
THIS WILL BE LISTED ON OTHER SITES, SO FIRST DEFINITE AND UNCONDITIONAL "I'LL TAKE IT" TO MY EMAIL AT vonweigert(at)earthlink.net gets it.
Cash, check, or money order are fine, No PayPal or other electronic payment.
C&R friendly, California "cash and carry" with proper documentation
If anyone is interested, please contact me directly at vonweigert(at)earthlink.net
I also have a bunch of original M1 carbine parts and accessories I will be listing for sale with this rifle. Magazines, carrying cases, flash hiders, grenade launcher ( stored in and will be shipped from neighboring free state), bayonets, grenade launcher sights and stock drilling fixture, etc.

ASM Colt Walker .44, Navy Arms "Confederate Colt" .44, Original 1840's box-lock .41
Added 6/4/23
I'm putting 3 more guns from my collection up for sale to help pay dog medical bills.
These are black powder muzzle-loaders, so they can be sent US mail anywhere legal to anyone allowed to own them.
First is an Armi San Marco Colt Walker .44.
ASM made some of the most accurately detailed cap & ball and Single Action Army replicas. I've owned this one for around 35 years, never fired it. Excellent condition, has a little ding on the left grip and a couple little light surface rust spots on the barrel.
$400 + shipping.
Second is one of the Navy Arms "Reb" .44 Confederate Colt replicas. Italian made, I don't remember the company that made it. All markings except "NAVY ARMS CO. RIDGEFIELD N.J." on top of the barrel and "-CALIBER 44" on left side of barrel have been removed. Serial number 20. I've owned this one for around 35 years also, never fired it.
$200 + shipping.
Third is an 1840's English box lock pistol, in .41 caliber. Marked "RICHARDS NEWBURY" on top of frame behind hammer. This is one of the Virginia City, Nevada "Comstock Lode era" guns from the collection of the historic "Gold Hill Hotel and Saloon" which I purchased from the then owners of the saloon and hotel in the early 1970's. I fired it a couple times in the mid 1970's, it's in good mechanical condition and everything works as it should.
$250 + shipping (sold)

Reason: 3 cap and ball pistols added 6/4/23
More dog medical expenses - our Cane Corso got bit by rattlesnake, and we sadly had to euthanize one of our beloved old wolfdogs who reached a point where her quality of life was gone - are forcing me to put a couple more guns from my personal collection up for sale.
If anyone is interested, please email me directly at vonweigert(at)earthlink.net
First is a Winchester Model 12 riot gun in 12 ga. (SOLD)
Overall nice, all original, condition, has an old police property mark "WSR #6" electro-pencil engraved on it. I believe this stands for the infamous/historic "Washington State Reformatory" prison. Has a small ding that need to be removed on the magazine tube that causes the last round to hang up on the shell rim if loaded to full capacity, so I have a wood dowel "limiter" in the mag tube.
I'm asking $ SOLD + shipping.
***Next is a Smith and Wesson Model 19-2 snubbie.***
Nice original factory nickel finish, decent lock-up, nice diamond-checkered grips that are correct but not numbered to the gun...serial number on grips is for an earlier pistol. Serial number is K792227. Serial number dates to 1968, so this is C&R eligible.
$1,000 + shipping.
C&R friendly, the shotgun can be picked up in person by anyone in Southern California with proper paperwork, I'm in Temecula, Southwest Riverside County, CA. I'm disabled and not able to drive very far, so buyer would have to come out to my place or meet up someplace local.

Reason: Photos of S&W Model 19-2 posted
It has the original long barrel with adjustable choke, and a short Mossberg factory riot gun barrel with the heat shield and extended magazine tube.
It's all in good original condition - this is my personal home defense shotgun.
It currently has the riot gun barrel on it, but it's pretty easy to change the barrels. The shorter original 5 shot magazine doesn't have the mag spring in it (got used on another gun) but everything else is there.
This is the earlier model with the single action arm. It was made in 1963, so it's C&R.
Cash & Carry in California with proper documents.
Asking $550 + shipping.

Shooter grade Winchester Model 94 .30-30 saddle ring carbine.
This is the little "Trapper" style with the 16 inch barrel and old style front and rear sights.
Serial number dates it to 1980.
Overall good condition. Nice walnut wood, clean and sharp bore bore.
I bought it in early 1995, I have never fired it.
The steel used in the receivers of 94 Winchesters from this era is well known for not holding the factory blued finish very well, and at some time long before I got it 28 years ago, someone had painted the receiver black, and some of this paint remains.
At least no one slopped that vile, stinking, "cold blue" on it.
Since this is my trunk/truck/camp/ranch rifle, I never bothered to remove the black paint on the receiver.
$450 + shipping.

UPDATE: Due to an unexpected emergency situation, I had to leave Southern California the night of July 15 and fly to another state, where it seems now that I will have to stay until at least the very end of March to the beginning of April....maybe longer depending on how things go.
So until then, the only firearms I have listed here that remain available are the ASM Colt .44 Dragoon replica, and the Navy Arms brass frame .44 "Confederate Colt" style pistol, since these do not have to be shipped to some kind of FFL and my daughter can box them up in a USPS Priority Mail flat-rate box and mail them from the local post office.
