As has been said on numerous occasions, time to thin out the herd.
I have been very scrupulous in describing any flaws. Have for the most part relied on on the “Blue Book of Gun Values”.
***SOLD***Model 57 (no dash), 4” barrel. Beautiful grips. Pinned and recessed. Year of Manufacture: 1979. Trigger has been slightly “shaped” for ergonomic reasons I suppose. I did not do it. Great bore. Serial Number: N606415 $1000.
Model 25-2, 6.5” MODEL 25 & VARIATIONS (1955 TARGET MODEL) The gun is in wonderful shape but there are a few flaws--a tiny nick in barrel and very slight wear of bluing on muzzle. (The nick is barely visible in the photo towards the muzzle). I put the condition at 95%. Original grips in good shape. Nice bore. 'Mis-stamp' on yoke above S/N which says “Model 29-2” which is obviously not the case. According to Blue Book editor John Allen (whom I spoke to a few years back) this can add another $200 to the value of the gun. (See photo). Otherwise, finish is excellent. Year of Manufacture: 1975 (45 caliber) $1125.
Colt Officers Model Match, 38 Spl. cal., 6 in. barrel. It’s a single action target gun modified by the previous owner. Blued finish. I put the condition at 95%. There is some wear on the strap. It’s quite accurate and was previously owned (so I was told) by Harvey Gerwig, Former President of the Hawaii Rifle Association) a champion shooter. (He showed me the man’s awards). Year of Manufacture: 1952 Price: $750.
Colt National Match Midrange, 38 Spl. Wadcutter, with one magazine. This is a very early Midrange, the first variation manufactured in 1961, SN 902-MR. (The first model that shipped was SN l# 338-MR shipped on December 12th, 1960).
The pistol is in good working order if you wish to take it to the range and the aesthetics are pretty good considering the vintage. There is some wear of the bluing on the slide.(I can send closeups of these features on request). Price: $1600
PM me if there’s interest on any of these. Can send closeups.
The first "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it. Price does not include shipping. You will have to handle any local FFL costs as well. I will ship only when funds are received and have cleared at my bank.
