“Pre-Model 21”
5” barrel .44 S&W Special. This revolver shipped to an individual in August of 1954 according to the included letter. Originally shipped with Target hammer and Target stocks, I assume would have been non-relieved. Serial numbers are matching frame, cylinder, back side of ejector, ejector rod shroud and yoke. Stocks are later walnut Magnas. Only 1200 reported manufactured including Model 21 marked guns. S&W Historical Foundation letter also included.
