I have decided to offer this as new, Model 39-2 for sale.
I bought this 8 years ago. The story was that the owner was an elderly gent whose brother worked for a Smith & Wesson distributor and gave him several guns. The owner was not a shooter and years later sold these to a pawn shop with whom I have done business for years. When the gun arrived at my dealer, we both thought it was too nice to shoot. I have never shot it, and I don't believe it has ever been shot since leaving the factory.
The factory letter says it shipped to a Miami, FL distributor.
