BOTH SOLD, Walther P38 AC44 9mm
Selling two of these nice P38 AC44. These are war time guns with NO import marks. They are not some of the surplus guns that were sold with some holsters
Overall condition is VG with normal usage wear, All matching serial numbers. They are both about the same condition give or take. Very strong springs and all "controls" function.
They both have all the unique markings and symbols. I am not expert on those and it's had to get pictures of them,
Here are the write ups from when I bought them some time ago. I didn't write this but agree with it.
This one is sold Serial 5852b
"Walther AC44 P.38, 9 mm, Serial 5852b, Manufactured February/March 1944, No Import Marks, All Matching Serials, to include: Slide, Frame, Barrel Lug, and Locking Block. Except for the oxidation patch on the left side of slide, this is a very nice AC44. There is no pitting, just a very thin patch of brown on the slide with some usage marks but the finish overall, is good. Normal finish on the high wear areas like front strap and trigger guard. …good bore, good grips, a tad bit of holster wear and comes with P.38v mag with E/359 on spine."
Walther AC44 P.38, 9 mm, Serial 335oi, Manufactured September 1944. No Import Marks, All Matching Serials, to include: Slide, Frame, Barrel Lug and Locking Block. This is a nice AC44 but I see some touch up done in a few areas of the finish that someone previously did, mostly on the frame, still a really nice gun… But all matching and otherwise original, in good condition with some usage marks, bore is decent with strong rifling. It comes with a Walther Banner Mag."
