***** ONLY THE MODEL 500ES SNUB IS STILL AVAILABLE - 2/25*****
I have decided to sell most of my S&W collection. I love these guns dearly but I never shoot them, rarely take them out, and it's time for another collector to enjoy them. Here are the the first six guns I am selling:
500ES 2.5-inch unported snub nose. I wish I had saved the bear kit and the bright orange grips this came with (I thought both were silly at the time). If I'd kept them, I could get a lot more money on the big auction site. But this is just the gun. It has a special S&W grip that covers the backstrap. I've shot maybe 15 rounds through it, usually everyone wants to load one shot and feel what it's like. I recommend keeping the second chamber empty because if you've never shot a .500 S&W out of an unported snub, you very may well double tap without realizing it. This gun is a real beast to shoot, a fun novelty if you own a steel J-frame to hold it next to, and part of a very limited run of guns with this setup.
Asking
$3000 $2800, which is
$250 $450 less than the last one of these sold for at auction on GB without box/papers.

Model 27-2 6-inch with presentation case and papers as shown. I've owned this gun for almost 25 years and never shot it. It has the slightest turn ring, so someone may have shot it. Blueing on all the following guns looks great. Any smudges or streaks are because all my blued guns are constantly getting a wipe down after handled, even though they are rarely handled with ungloved bare hands.

Model 29-3 Lew Horton 3-inch snub. Another one of my safe queens that I've owned and babied with lightly oiled rags for years. It's not pinned or recessed, but the blueing is gorgeous, and the original combat grips come with it.

Model 17-6 late series with full underlug. Most of the 17-6s made with full lug were the six-inch variety. I can't remember the number of 4-inch ones they made, but it's a very small run. This is a near twin to the 586 with the full lug. Comes with these awesome smooth presentation grips.

Model 586-4, 2.5-inch BPD serial number chambered in .357 magnum!! This is an extremely rare piece. I used to have a Jinks letter on it and I've been tearing my house apart looking, but I can't find it. There was some tortured explanation of a run of guns ordered for the Brazilian police department, then cancelled, and the run of .357 ones was super tiny (most were .38 special). Anyway, this is another wonderfully blued safe queen that I've never shot and owned for a long time. It's one of my most prized guns and I really want someone to have it that's going to enjoy having this in their collection as much as I did.

Model 327 2-inch barrel from the Performance Center. Scandium gun is super light. I've carried this gun hiking many times because it's 8 shots and super light, and as you can see from the pics in the full gallery, it has a few scratches from carry. It's could use some cleaning up but I don't have the materials on hand to clean the titanium. So you're going to get it as shown in the pics. Wonderful hiking companion.
