Got Colt 1904 New Army in .41LC and Eibar (Spain) repro of S&W in 38. They both complete but require some sort or tweaking

I'm helping out older member of my skit and trap club to sell some guns. This is Colt Lightning project, rifle is not functioning properly, from what I see when you pull back on the forend slide will go back, but when you push back the slide bolt doesn't go back you have to help it with fingers. I'm sure there's other issues with this rilfe. Hammer and trigger work properly. He wanted $1500 I told him it's not gonna happen then he said that $950 would be fine with him So if anybody wants it I will facilitate this deal for you.
