Gun Number 2: Model 57, 8-3/8", Nickel
You are buying a very lightly used Smith & Wesson Model 57 that was manufactured in 1980 (Ser # N691XXX). It is ALL ORIGINAL and in "Like New" condition. There are a very few, very, very light scratches on the right side of the barrel that can be seen in strong direct sunlight, but not otherwise. It's a "one-hole" gun. I have two Model 57's and I'm keeping the one with the blue finish -- tradition I guess. But this is an absolutely superb handgun. It has the pinned barrel and recessed cylinder of the early well-made S&W revolvers and is super clean. It has a nickel finish, 8 3/8" barrel, white outline rear sight and red front, target hammer, trigger and the most beautiful target stocks I have ever seen on any Smith & Wesson revolver.
The price is $700. It comes with a brand new box of Remington 210 grn SP ammo (I paid 46.95 + state tax for that ammo 5 months ago -- you can't find it today). If you do not want the ammunition, I will take $45 off the price. Insured shipping to your FFL will be charged at actual cost. I only buy and sell good gear and buyers are always impressed with the condition of the firearms they buy from me. You won't be disappointed with this handgun.
