Nice bore with sharp rifling. Somewhere along the line the rear sight has been replaced with a No.4 rear sight (marked to 1300m) but correct 800m original ones are available thru GunParts Corp for about $25. All other parts apear to be original and match. Made at BSA-Shirley in 1946. Serial number BJ46XX on stock, receiver, bolt, and magazine. M47C and M47A (BSA Codes) on various other parts.
