Don't know how my 1000 plus post count went bye-bye but I digress...just don't have a need for non working guns at the moment and my youngest is starting college so here we go.
Firearms have a 3 day non firing guarantee with me deducting shipping if you don't like them (have never owned junky firearms and have a great reputation on this forum (and others) on items bought and sold, you should have the same). These items are listed on another forum but not on auction sites. Price on all items is shipped but not insured (we can discuss that at actual cost via email). I am private collector so please be POSITIVE your FFL will accept from individual. First email to me at
[email protected] will take the item (due to two forum postings). (college bills wait for no man y'know
). Thanks for looking. I will have pics up later tonite on all items but "waiting on pics" should not slow you down imo. ALL of these items are extremely nice.
1) *SPF* Model 27-1, 3.5", 4 screw, .357 magnum, blued finish, Serial Number is S219XXX with matching numbered diamond service stocks (brass washer). Gun is conservatively listed as 98% plus with only VERY minor blue wear at end of barrel, a turn line on cylinder, and almost microscopic tiny scratches on right sideplate above Smith/Wesson logo (just trying to be thorough on listing what I see, can't get them to show up in pics and only seen at certain angles, not thru the bluing ). Timing is perfect and lock up is bank vault tight. No strap cutting and I have to wonder if original owner ever shot a magnum out of it. Stocks have a couple of minor dings but none of the wear takes away from the appearance of this revolver. Eye catching to say the least with polish on the metal a beautiful thing to behold. Made in 1960-61 only and MUCH rarer than 27-2's. Previous owner put tiny amount of orange paint on front site and center of rear. Should be very easy to remove but it does make it easier to shoot for older eyes I have to admit. No box or docs, just a stunning S series N frame that I hate like heck to part with. Asking $1000.00 shipped. This one is VERY nice folks. *SPF to John*
Again, first "I'll take it" to my email at
[email protected] gets the items. Don't like to multi forum post but do have college bills to pay. Again, thanks for looking.
