Thumbs up Impossible Shots

Did anybody else see Bob Munden's display last night? First, he hit a target at 200 yards with a Colt SAA .45. Then to top that, he hit the target, again at 200 yards, with one of those beltbuckle guns (a Naa revolver?). I think it was a .22 caliber. He hit it with his second shot! That was really an impossible shot!! Very impressive.

His exhibition show is pretty good too. He can draw and take two shots so fast they sound like one shot.

Ah, but did you have the Mattel Derringer that, if you pushed your stomach out JUST right, would swing out and fire? A great trick - ONCE. After that, everyone knew to watch for it.

The Outdoor Channel is my Wednesday night viewing. Have to fight the wife for an hour. She watches ghost Hunter things. But the rest of the evening is mine. I hope they don't put anything on regular tv during that time frame.

I was a young kid then, too, but recall that 4-barrelled Sharps derringer.

Paladin had two different models of Colt and one Remington derringer, didn't he? "Have Gun, Will Travel." But I think Yancey Derringer was the only one on TV with a Sharps.

Impossible shots is one of many shooting shows that make up my weds viewing and that shot was crazy. And whenever they have Jerry Miculek or his wife on.. yeah if I had half that skill.

I was next after Oldfella in the shooting competition.
After I shot, the fly flew away,

"You lose, Mr. Rooster", said the judge, "he still flies!"

"He still flies," I said, "but he can no longer reproduce."

Since they do actually hit the targets, perhaps it should be renamed "Highly Unlikely Shots"
