Was drinking my morning coffee, and started watching TCM. The Movie was 'Shield for Murder' with Edmond O'Brien, John Agar and a bunch of actors i recognized but didn't know their names. O'Brien is a Police LT. who kills a bookie and steals the money, Agar is his partner who has to catch him.

Saw a lot of colt snubbies in cross draw holsters on the detectives, and a mixture of strong side 6 inch guns in either strong side or cross draw on the patrolman. A lot of belt slide ammo carriers as well. And a few flap holsters too.

Looks to take place in Los Angeles but it is never named.

Why can't they make ones like this nowadays.

Did you see Righteous Kill?

I was cruising the channels the other night and watched it. Pretty good cop movie IMO.

Shield for Murder is a great movie. I personally love LA Confidential. Usually between the book and the movie theres a big dropoff but this is a perfect version of a awesome story
