Default LEO carrying a 686 Plus

My wife & I were at the roll call for a multi-agency DUI checkpoint last night & I told our friend who is a DUI specialist for the county department that the forum would want the details on his revolver. The county dept. allows revolver carry although I see very few-the Block & it's spawn are omnipresent. His is a 686 Plus-he explained that his father taught him to shoot with a revolver & he didn't see any reason to change. He then opened his shirt & showed me a model 60 tucked in a holster affixed to his body armor.Well armed & well prepared.
Regards,

The 686 was a fine duty weapon in it's day, I carried one for years on duty before more modern firearms were developed, like the Glock.

I carried a 686 plus for several years before we were issued "dishwasher safe." I still have it and it frequently goes four wheeler riding.
