How many modern revolver manufacturers are there?

Skipping the antique replicas like Uberti and Beretta:

S & W
Ruger
Magnum Research
Taurus
Charter Arms


Anybody else?

I would still count Colt since there are so many around, they still make the Single action.
 
General Electric, Dillon Aero INC, DeGroat Tactical Armaments, Garwood Industries all make modern revolvers. Or at least did recently.
 
I know S & W, Ruger, NAA, and Magnum Research are all high quality...

What about the rest.... garbage?
 
Zastava makes some. Saw 'em on Gunboards this week. Look like the old Taurus M-669, but I have no idea which action system they use. The barrels on those shown have vent ribs.

Manurhin has/had several, some based on the Ruger system.

There are S&W copies made in Chile, I think.

I don't think any of the modern makers are garbage. Does anyone knwo of exceptions to that statement. Of course, I've only owned a few of these brands, but I've shot a few more and all seemed good to me.
