Highway Patrol (and others) on Hulu

I used to love Highway Patrol. They were the only LEA's I ever knew who routinely drove Buicks.
 
Thanks!...Been a Hulu watcher for a while, but I didn't know they had Highway Patrol.
I just watched the episode entitled "Motorcycle", and the actor playing one of the cyclists (or, "rodhoppers" as they say in the show)was...young Clint Eastwood!
 
The only handgun I saw in the one episode I watched was something with a six inch barrel in a swivel holster on a uniformed officer's hip...probably a model 10.
 
Mostly six inch barrels on the uniformed officers... either Colt or S&W, saw both.... carried in those old Speed Safety Clamshell holsters !!!
 
Love the opening scene.... when is the last time you have seen a road block with one of the officers holding a Thompson Subgun??? The both the officers on the right and left from the center officer have one.

Watched an episode last week. Very cool. Used to watch it back when it was first on in the early 60's??
Mr. Crawford does carry/display a 2" revolver on occasion to help capture the bad guy.

The mid to late 50's. Mr Crawford even made a cameo on the old CHIPs TV series... played himself.
 
I'll have to check those out.. I remember those from when I was
a sprout in the late 50's. I've watched a lot of the old Adam-12's
off Hulu, and some other shows like Dragnet, etc.
Also the Internet Archive has a lot of old 50's shows.

Good ol' four holers too.

In the "Prospector" episode, @ 21:44, the Sargent looks to be using a Colt Official Police.
