Do you mean Johnny Allen "Buster" Hendrix or do you mean Jimmy James of Jimmy James and the Blue Flames? Either way, just three days past mine. BTW, there is some wickedly good tequila, vodka and rum that was out under the Jimi Hendrix name a couple of years ago, now discontinued because of copy right infringement. If you find a bottle at your local spirits shop BUY IT. It's going up in value faster than any S & W.

So, BlackAngus, when exactly is / was your (and JHs) birthday? If it's tomorrow the 28th, I am with you!
I was actually born on Thanksgiving day way back when!
Happy birthday to you no matter if it was yesterday, today, or if it's tomorrow. Many more!

What? Is today the birthday of the Master of the Stratocaster? Always a fan, since I bought Are You Experienced? back in early 68.

Never liked Hendrix. Didn't like his noise. Died of drugs. Don't like drugs.

Jimi Hendrix shares a birthday with YOU. In terms of this forum, you are the more noteworthy one. Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday!
I hope you're married to a foxy lady with gypsy eyes, not some voodoo child with manic depression. Jimmy who???

I've got a friend named Steve Hendryx, and I'd rather listen to his BS than that other guy any day.

I met a lady once who was complaining about Hendrix and his overt support of homosexuality. When I asked her to explain, she referred to Hendrix's song lyrics, specifically: "...'scuse me while I kiss this guy!" I told her that the correct lyrics were actually: "...'scuse me while I kiss the sky!". "Oh, well, that's entirely different then...never mind". I think her name was Emily Latella, or something like that.
Regards,
Dave

I share mine (August 27) with Pee Wee Herman and Mother Theresa. We certainly make a strange threesome.
I'd rather have her sitting behind me in a theater, for sure. . .
