Default Installing Trijicon sights on Baretta Cougar 8040 using MGW sight tool?

Has anyone used the MGW sight tool on any gun to uninstall original sights and install Trijicon sights on any pistol.

Was wondering what you thought of ease of use of this tool.

Sight tool Vendor>>>TopGun.com

Link to Sight tool Manufacturer MGW

Hope someone has some input as I took my slide to a Gander Mountain Gunsmith and they wanted to mill out my rear sight (they said they couldn't remove the original any other way) and charge me over $100.00....Basically turned into a nightmare for me. It's looking like I should have bought the tool for $100.00 and did it myself.

I have the tool and will be using it again when I get new Tru-Glo TFO for my M&P 40c. I was charged $65 each to put non TFO Tru-Glos on my pair of 45's and ordered the tool that same night. I since had them put on my M&P 40 Full size and was charged almost $50 by another dealer and last Thursday I removed and replaced the front and rear sights on my M&P 9 Full size with no problems except learning that you have to remove the shim to remove the front sights as well as replace them.

Getting the rear sights off is no problem but you have to keep in mind that under the rear sights is the striker block plunger plus spring and cap there is a tool you can use when pulling the sights off by Talon and Brownells has them for $3.99 so I would have one of those because reinstalling the spring and cap is almost impossible without some kind of tool or a third hand here is a link to that tool and it is in stock: S&W M&P REAR SIGHT TOOL - Brownells

I removed my Trijicon sights and replaced them with TruGlo's and I love them. Would I recommend this tool to anyone, of course I would It makes fixing sights simple and can be done in less than 10 minutes unless you do not also have the S&W M&P rear sight tool so order one today and you could start a small hobby charging others $25 buck while they wait to get their sights replaced with little to no gunsmithing experience, if I can do it any one can!
