Got a roll of tape at the post office: Made in China! The NRA is a private organization and can buy what is cheapest, but the post office is a government organization and should buy American.

The FNRA buys from merchandisers who specialize in adding logos, etc. They in turn buy whatever is available at the most reasonable price. As for the Post Office, unless their contract specifies "Buy American" lowest bidder wins. In 2001 when the Army adopted the black beret for everyone
they bought PRC made ones.

I've always felt that I'd rather pay a few more bucks to buy American. It's gotten almost impossible to do. I do stay out of Mao Marts as best I can and I always go out of my way to go to a mom and pop store. I've ordered routine stuff from my local mom and pop and waited a few days for them to get "it" to help keep their doors open instead of supporting Mr. Big Box!

I just read that Hummer has been sold to the Chinese and that US production is going to stop until the deal is complete. Nice.......our soldiers driving around in Chinese made vehicles. I hope they use better steel than they used in a cheap Chinese shovel I bought a few years ago.

We have a Shiba Inu. People say, "A what?"

I inform them they're the national dog in Japan and we got one because you just can't find a decent American-made dog anymore.

Well, maybe you have had to work for Ford to appreciate the joke.

I believe the Military Hummer will still be made by AM General. I'm pretty sure I read that when I read about the Chinese buying Hummer.
