Default Ships and shoes, sealing wax...

While logging in, I got a friendly message saying that I haven't jumped in with any of my sought after expertise. True. Fact is, I've been laying low. I had a hip replacement last August, and it didn't work out. Gotta have it redone. Not happy. Looks like 12 weeks of recovery' half of that on crutches.
I have been thinking of a karma, though. Won't be able to follow through for a while; but here is a preview:
I have a nice duty belt, purchased (ahem) several years ago, that I'll put into play in honor of my post #100. I sense that means that I will be trusted beyond belief when I go on the for sale board for that prelock Mountain Gun in .45 Colt.

I also note that several of the karmas have restrictions (over so many posts, pictures, etc). My restriction would be, ah, waist size. Hard as it may seem to believe, at some time in my past I could wear a 34 waist! In this, I am a bit saddened, as many of the posters on this excellent forum would appear to be, shall we say, ineligible.
I will probably throw in the holster for a 6" K frame. Depends...
I'll follow up with the karma when I'm able to get out and about.

"The time has come " the Walrus said "to speak of many things, of sailing ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings". Thank you for the walk down memory lane, my high school paper was The Walrus, and that quote was on the masthead every week. Your Karma has already worked! Thanks again.

Note to all, I'll not be able to get er done till till, say, April. Which, appro po of nothing at all coincides with Madison's snow removal program!
I will repost the karma when I'm mobile again!
