A Little Italian Diversion...
It ain't always about the Smiths! This is a Beretta Model 102 in .22 long rifle. Can't wait for warm weather to see how it shoots. Fantastic trigger!

Better feed it Italian fodder.
Get some Fiocchi .22 match stuff and see how it does.
Very nice piece! You need a Bernadelli .22 so you'll have a pair, and perhaps they'll reproduce.

Memories
I handed my Dad $85.00 to buy a used 102 in 1976; my first handgun. I killed a thousand cans with that pistol, some how I traded it off in college and have wanted to find one again.
Thanks for the post.

I had heard of the 102's but about 33 years ago I bought a Model 76. Except for the mag release and the pinky tail on magazine, they look the same. I never figured out if it shot well or not. The notch in the side of the barrel, for the extractor peeled lead off the nose of the bullet on every shot and threw it in my forehead. Went back to Beretta twice, always came back the same, traded it off and got a S&W 41. Ivan

A work of art. Now where's the photo of Irene Papas? And yes--I know she is Greek.

I had my hands on one of those little beauties many years ago and seeing yours makes my doubly mad at myself for not buying it. I do the dumbest things at times!!!
