Default its been a long time since ive shared one of these

Im now better than a one year veteran at married life. ( hold those rookie comments Ill get there in a lifetime )
well as a result of the merger I took on several new duties, one being a guitarist in the church choir.

I dont know of anyone else who plays a full dress heavy metal BC Rich six stringed razor in any church, so I just may be some kind of pioneer staking a claim on new turf here. I might be wrong but im unaware of it at the moment.

it has its moments .... like this one.

"Hey mister, are you the one who played the guitar" asked the 7 year old boy after mass, flanked by his parents who likely hoped the kid didnt drool all over the BC Rich electric guitar, bringing perceived shame upon their family name.
"yes, that would be me"
I then picked up the pick from the floor of the church which I used to play the songs intro, and gave it to him.

You might have inspired him to heretofore unimagined heights.

Nice playing!

I do hope so.
It is my intent to get a few kids on the road of 24 frets.

found myself talking to the parents of the a fore mentioned kid.
seems the little guy keeps that pick with him at all times. So I told them ... now ya gotta get him a guitar to go with it.

must have taken quite a bit of gumshoe work on there part. The phone rang, was the parents. looks like Ill be helping the selection process for the kids first six string.

That's really great! You just never know how you'll leave your mark on the world, so act accordingly.

Im glad they tracked me down instead of the usual go buy the cheapest thing routine.
that always results in an unplayable acoustic in the ball park of $100.
with CNC machining of today, a good solid electric can be had for only a few bucks more.
Few seem to know this and it ruins untold numbers of future guitarists.
Might make an axe hacker outta the boy yet
