Default NON-Buyer's Remorse...

I passed up a beautiful 28-2 4" today, could have had it for $500 OTD and walked away. Not a steal, but a really nice example and a model I don't already have. If that show weren't 2 hours from the house I'd be headed back right now....

And as soon as the economy picks up you'll never get that chance again. Two hours is just two hours, but regret is forever.

Unhappy

Did the same thing at a show a couple of weeks ago, only I found a cut down triple lock with a very bad renickle job in 44 Special. The barrel was cut down to 3" and the front sight silver sordered, trouble is, the lock work was like new, probably because there was a star on the butt. Asking price was $425, I'm still kicking myself.

my 3" cut down triple lock last week only cost $250

if i could have back every gun i really wanted (and was priced reasonably or unreasonably low), then i left the shop, and then went back the next day or next week after thinking about it and it was gone... makes me upset thinking about it.

Don't beat yourself up, I do that all the time. You cannot buy them all.

I feel your pain brother. The guy I bought two 99 Savages from yesterday also had a 401 Winchester self loader and a very nice colt trooper 22 revolver with box and papers. If I didn't like living with my wife so much, I'd go back for the other two.

Yep. Me, too. But Publisher's Clearinghouse is supposed to call me soon, so I may have another chance at some of them.

I think Saxon Pig once posted that he regretted the guns he didn't buy more than the ones he sold. How true.

Yep, on a model 36. Got a no dasher a few months later tho. Found out that I just can't shoot short barrels. Oh well, I'll just have to keep practicing.
