Our canyon has had a couple of break-ins by illegals heading back to the border lately. Well today 6 families took a bad guy out with the help of our Border Patrol. Started about 1400 a break-in was discovered, within 15 min. a man running away was seen. One neighbor went up the mountain to try to spot him, another posted as a relay. Border Patrol came up but couldn't figure out where to go. So I met the agents with a spare walkie talkie of mine. The illegal was spotted hiding under a mesquite tree. The spotter fed info to the relay, who was in communication with the BP. In an hour and a bit of hiking the agents found the illegal, by our point to point directions, which included the tree he was under. I know we spend a lot of money to protect our borders, but a united community and a $15 radio provided a successful outcome today.

Cochise County has him in lock up. Round here they give criminal illegals two options. Take 10 on a plea or 50 on a bet. Almost all take the ten.

I think about 10 rds. of plunging fire toward the mesquite tree would have been nice.

As far as I'm concerned, we don't spend nearly enough. I'd rather see the money we spend on supporting these criminals once they are in the country, spent on making sure they don't get in in the first place.

Yes. we get two kinds of break ins. Some from the mules heading home after they deliver their dope. Mostly food and small electronic stuff, cellphones, ipods, GPS's.

The other break in are from mules who lost their load to Border Patrol, but got away. Or by bandits on the drug trails.

Now these guys are in it deep big time, big trouble for them, or their families. So they need to bring back a little something to appease the cartel. They like guns, computers, valuables, and your home is totally destroyed in their search.

We are are a small community, where you know everyone, so even the crackheads know that they take their life in their hands messing with peoples homes.

We are not afraid, we are aware, alert and armed.

if he was an illegal alien he needs no further evidence to be a criminal- more evidence is just more icing on a cake we don't need or want.


I personally want mine fields between our two borders... with signage and advertising that you cross illegally you die - I think it simple enough.
