Just bought a minty Walther PPK/S made by S&W for $375, anyone own one ???
Couldn't pass up buying one of two S&W made Walther PPK/S's for sale at my local Gander Mountain. Sometimes they actually do have decent prices. I almost bought a Llama .32 Mini-1911 that they only wanted $100 for too, but decided not to buy it.
So, does anyone have any experience with these S&W made .380's ??? They sure do look nice...... Shoo

I have the regular PPK not "s" by SW. Worked fine until they recalled it. It got sent back THREE times after the recall.
I much prefer the Sig P232.
The Walther is very accurate and fun to shoot but I think it's time has come and gone. It's too big and too many snags for a pocket gun. The Ruger, KT, Kahr and all the others beat it there. If I need to holster a gun it's not a .380.

I have the stainless PPK/S. Love it. Check for the recall stamp.

Looking good shoo!
Does your other mag have a black base plate that has a place for your little finger? My Interarms ppk/s came with one that did and one without. Also is S&W shipping with a test target?
Thanks, rags

Hi rags, Bought it used, I didn't get any extras with it, no box or extra mag. I'll probably buy a mag off of gunbroker with the pinky extension. I probably won't carry it, just kind of an impulse buy because I love the lines of these guns. Thanks shipmate, Shoo

Now THAT was funny ! ! ! <Grin>
I carried a PPK/S back in the late 70's and loved it as a carry piece. The ammo available at the time left alot to be desired, though. Snappy pistol to fire, and very easily concealed. Enjoy.

Hey rags, yes, believe it or not, I didn't have a Shooboy Shoorod prop rod of my own to prop up the Walther. I know you have more than your fair share of rare Shoorods, so how's about sharing the wealth ??? Shoo

Hey Shoo, that's a good price. I have one and it works flawlessly before and after the mod.

I don't own one, but I saw a bunch of them once.
At one time, the American made PPK/Ss were heat treated at a plant in the town where I worked. I went by the plant one day and there were hundreds of slides sitting around. I couldn't seem to persuade anyone to look out the door for about 2 minutes.
