Default I Made This Gift For A Gun Totin' Woman

I wanted to make something for a kinda relative who I think would appreciate it more than a candle or something. So I spent a couple hours in the garage today and made her this knife sheath. That's a cheap "original bowie knife" with a 6" blade I made it for. I felt the plain wood handle would look OK with this genuine imitation alligator hide. Hearts to feminize it a little. The "alligator" is very thin and was first cemented to a thin piece of leather so the total thickness matched the back part exactly. A couple years ago I made her a fancy two tone holster for her Ruger GP100 she carries all the time when traveling.

Now is this here one of your kissin cousins or what, "kinda relative" is rather ambigous? You say cheap original Bowie knife? It does look rather nice, and you got me thankin that I could glue some thin strips of gator hyde on my combat boots, how would that look, actually I like the idea, I was just trying to be funny as I kinda likee the looks of them Ostrich cowboy boots, but I doubt that Mrs. Billy would think they looked to kool. She already told me I look kinda stupid on my GSXR-1000, with my partially bald noggin and all that grey hair kinda wild and crazy when I pull off my brain bucket. But I am the fastest stupid lookin guy in town? Billy

Just yesterday I wore my 22 year old Joey Buttafucco style Boa skin boots when we went out to lunch. The "kinda relative" I made the sheath for is my son in law's mom. My son in law used to be my brother in law. My sister and step daughter are great freinds since high school. All this and I don't even live in Arkansaw.
