Are these Roper grips?
I've been searching for some Ropers for my 686. Found "Roper Grips" on eBay, but for an N-Frame. Are these really Roper grips?
eBay item # 280514562694
The seller insists that they are, but I don't think so -- Then again what do I know? I thought that Roper grips referred to the manufacturer (originally) and later to the specific type of ribbon pattern.
(BTW - Not my comment on eBay)

Not even close. They're Eagle's version of Smith and Wesson smooth targets, with S&W medallions added. They don't look anything like Ropers I've seen.

The seller is "really" trying to hit all the hot buttons calling the grips Ropers and Cokes in the same sentence !!
