Guess what I found!!!!!!!!!!
Y'all will remember a few years ago I went up to the frozen Nawth and did a circle of Lake Michigan. Well on the way I stopped in Canada, Sault Ste. Marie to be exact. As my habit whenever crossing the border, I stopped at the duty free store and purchased a couple of litres of Balvinie Double Cask.
Well....apparantly I had only drank one of them, cause when cleaning up a bunch of "stuff" I found a brand new unopened bottle
So I guess it's Scotch drinking and watching LSU in the regionals tonight. I must have done something good for God to shine down on me this way.

Who are the your Tigers playing tonight? My Tigers (the Clemson Tigers) should be playing Auburn now, but rain is delaying everything. I guess one way or another, the Tigers will win my game. Good luck to you and yours.

You'd drink this-I promise. Good thing about good Scotch-no hangover in the morning. Bad Scotch will give a wicked hangover. Ask me I know
BTW shout out to Clemson-as good as the SEC was the first day-we took it on the chin yesterday......Oh well....football is on the way

We need to coin a phrase to describe the feeling of finding a forgotten stash of good whiskey, I recently had the same thing happen to me. It's kind of like being a kid on Christmas morning again.
When we moved into our house a few years back I stashed a box with a bottle that I'm saving for a very special occasion in a closet nook. I never lost sight of that bottle, but with all the chaos of the move and the passage of time, I forgot there were others in the box. So a month back I decide to move the special bottle with my other unopeneds and took the box out of the closet. Well, there were two bottles of Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye in there too. Also found in the box were opened bottles of Bookers and Macallen. Needless to say it was a good day!
All this talk of whiskey makes me think its time to go pour a finger or two.............

When I was in college, the Soo meant "beer run". We used to go to Sault Saint Marie, hang out with friends at Lake State and then head to the beer store in Canada.
The canadian border guys never liked us when we said we were there to buy beer. After a while we told them we were there to see the Algoma Central and they let us right in. The US guys just wanted us to pay duty.
