If you don't get a good answer here, try the Lee-Enfield forum at www.gunboards.com Those guys are really up on that.

You may need to post a photo. I think there may have been more than one version of them.

I would imagine the Indian made blades would have a similiar or maybe slightly less value than the British made 1907 bayonets. Some of the Indian made 1907 style bayonet variations are rarer than others.

The British bayonets sell for anywhere from $50-$150...depending on maker, condition, etc.

Smokey Mountain Knife Works was selling P1907 british bayonets with scabbard for $25 a few years back. Supposidly in rough/ragged condition. ordered 2....thinking to double my chances of receiving a servicable bayo and scabbard. They sent me two perfectly nice 1915 dated bayonets in good scabbards. One a 1915 Enfield made bayo, the other a rarer 1915 Remington made bayo.

Definitely need good pics and close-ups of the markings. They made Enfields at the Ishapore factory from the very early 1900's into the 1960's. Your bayonet could be off several models including a bunch of factory reworks in the 1960's. Post those here and on one of the specialty sites as posted above.

In passing, the $50 would make me very uneasy. If your pusher is offering that it doesn't compute as that's well above what it probably would retail for. $50 says to me he wants it and it's a rarer variation. Just a guess mind you but I'd check it out.
