Just watched a video on CNN webstite about a good Samaritan and the U.S. Flag. Appears in the rain storm a business flag pole blew over. A homeless man stopped, took the flag off and folded it up, then dragged the pole out of the way. They found the flag folded on the hood of their pickup when they returned the work the next day. They weren't sure who or what happened till they viewed security camera footage. Some of this footage is on the website.

When looking at how our Flag is treated and the lack of respect shown for it, this mans actions are breath of fresh air. I guess true Americans come in all shapes, sizes and economical status.

Unfortunately, there are great number of the Homeless who are Veterans.
Maybe the homeless guy was just continuing service to his Flag.
