The wife is recovering from her knee replacement four weeks ago and wanted to get out of the house before she goes back to work tomorrow. We left last Wed. and went to South Florida for four days. We drove A1A from Jupiter to Pompano where we had accommodations and then got up the next morning and drove A1A to the tip of Miami where we jumped over to Hwy 1 and went to the Everglades National Park. It was a nice four days in DG Country and we only saw one of Ladder13's beloved Palmetto Bugs. It was to fast or I could have had a sandwich. The contrast of South Beach, Art Deco, high rise condos and hotels, and the Everglades made for a nice outing. I also got to eat at Jack's BBQ in Ft. Lauderdale which I always go to when I am in the area.
