Airing out my S&W Etherium today...
As some of you might know, a number of years ago I acquired one of the rarest Smiths known - the Etherium.
To make a long story short, it was a well-kept secret - the quest to make the lightest handgun ever developed. The secret was infusing this Airlight revolver's metal parts with helium.
Unfortunately, it worked so well that the S&W higher-ups decided to make no production models - only a few prototypes. The problem was that it was actually lighter than air. It was deemed too dangerous in that it might float away and get into the wrong hands.
So I only exercise my gun once a year - on April 1st. Here are some photos I took of it a few years ago. I'll take it out of the vault today. Enjoy these pics - few have seen them!

I don't know; the bullets all floated up into the sky before they got 10 yards out!

I heard a fellow put some 125gr +P+ in it and fired a round. It's still orbiting Mars from what I understand.
