I'm looking for a set of Fitz Ten 0 stocks for a no-dash 586. Did they ever make these for the L frames?

Lee, they have a wide bottom and a thumb rest on the left side. Very asymmetrical and they provide a very stable shooting platform.

Guys, thanks for your replies.

Richard

I don't blame you for looking for those MD, they are by far my favorite. They fit me like a glove.
They came in plastic and wood. They also came in three sizes, S M & L.
The earliest wood ones had the name Fitz routed into the bottom of the grip. I've had custom made grips done from numerous folks and by far, Fitz grips fit me the best right out of the box.
They show up on e-bay and in those boxes of various stuff under the tables at gun shows.
The grips on the K-22 are the plastic ones. The bottom pair are wood. I was told that the wood is called "fruit wood".
Not much grain to it, but hard as wood can be. I wish I had an extra set to sell you.

Moosedog, that's the closest I've seen. Are those for a round butt? Mine's a square butt. Yeah, the control you get with them is amazing. My fil has them on both his 1960 6" Python and on his 1950's Colt Woodsman Match Target.

Davwingman, are they similar to Moosedog's?

Almost! I will post a picture later this morning as soon as I get one taken outside.

Those are interesting Wingman. I've never seen Fitz with a signature engravinfg on the bottom. I have seen their wooden ones with a machined "FITZ" on the bottom.
Those may be some special pair that he made for some one. They are in excellant shape.
What's the story on those? Had them long?
