Default Picture posting problem

I've been posting pictures via photobucket for several years. A couple days ago, I cleaned my "cookies", first time in quite awhile. Now, I go to photobucket, appropriately highlite the correct area, click paste, then when go to paste it, the "paste" option isn't there when I right click. All my images are in Photobucket, and I resigned in, but the site looks different than it used to.

At near 70, I'm not the most computer savvy. Please tell me how to get back to being able to post pictures. Thanks

Photobucket changed recently but it is still easy to attach your pictures.
In the past you could just click the bottom box and a yellow light appeared and it was "copied".
That feature doesn't work anymore (single click). Just manually copy and paste it, and see if that works for you.

Just tried that , and it didn't work. I wonder if I have something "turned off" when I cleared the cookies. I do use Firefox if that's any clue.

I also use Firefox, and clear my cookies after every session, so I doubt that clearing the cookies is at fault. I use a Mac, so don't know if Photobucket works the same way on a PC, but in my case, if I first click on "My albums", then hover the cursor over the image I want (do not click). In a moment a pop-down menu appears with a variety of command choices. Move the cursor to the bottom one labeled "IMG Code" and left click. The code box then says "copied". Then you can return to the forum and paste the copied code into your post just like you have always done. It works for me - hope it works for you. Here's a picture of a Nebraska Happy Hour Posted as an example.

Just left click on IMG Code. It will very briefly say Copied. Then return to your post and paste as normal.

It still works fine. I just posted a pic in the .22 rifle thread.

Friends don't let friends use PhotoScrewit. One of the prime places to pick up viruses and trojans after porn sites IMHO. The bad guys are always getting into it.

Ok, just went in and signed in again from scratch and uploaded a new image, and I think that did it, but is now working different, No longer changes t yellow when you left click so you can right click to copy. Now just left click and it shows copy. then I get a "Paste" when put on the new page. At least it now works again.

Easy.

New method:

Place cursor over picture. Codes come up.

Left click on "IMG code"

It momentarily shows "copied."

Paste where required.

Oh, yeah - to log out, click on your user name in the upper right hand corner. Then click on "log out." Took me a while to figure that one out. The only constant is change.

John
