Not funny to me. The 4th Amendment is effectively null and void. The founding fathers made the Constitution difficult to amend for a reason. Unfortunately, they did not make it difficult enough to ignore.
The next bomb the terrorists set off will probably be in a screening line while the TSA is undressing a crying 4 year old and lots of sheeple are going to take it in the pants. My car is getting a lot more mileage these days and my frequent flier miles are stuck at the same number. I won't play.

I hate to disagree with a fellow BMW owner, but...
The TSA is not going down the street dragooning citizens into being screened. Flying is voluntary, one of many ways to travel, and anyone who doesn't like airport screening has alternatives. The Fourth Amendment is not being ignored.
There is another issue here too, one that is rarely considered by those who object to screening because they believe their rights are being violated: What about the airlines' property rights? Do the airlines not have the right to set conditions under which people can board their flights? Do the airlines not have an interest in seeing that their airplanes are not damaged and their customers not harmed?
My first flight, 40 years ago, was on a DC-3, and I simply walked into the airport, went to the gate, and boarded it. No security to speak of, few restrictions on what I could carry, etc. Those days are gone, sadly, and with practitioners of the "religion of peace" constantly looking for new ways to kill infidels, this is the world we now live in.

In the 1960s I used to fly all over the country on business, and usually had a loaded 1911 pistol in my briefcase. I've never felt safer in an airplane.

Good point! Unfortunately, that 1911 would be no defense today against a guy who has an IED concealed under his clothing, and who intends to blow himself and his fellow passengers to kingdom come.
The world has changed, and not for the better... :-(

LOL! Well, this is something that touches a nerve in a lot of people, and folks have strong opinions on both sides of the issue.
Your intentions were innocent, and yeah, I did chuckle...Happy New Year to you! :-)
