Check Browning Arms Co.'s website, they used to have just the book you are looking for. If not try Amazon.

My Gosh! A 'Google' of "John M. Browning Bibliography" turns up 174,000 references. I wrote one of my college research papers on John M. Browning and just from the little University of Nevada, Reno library I almost couldn't carry out the door in one trip all the books offered. The best IMHO is his own Bibliography which is unfortunately out of print right now. I have 'lost' my copy of it to some forgotten 'borrower'. :-(

My advice is to haunt all the Used Book Stores available to you until you find a copy. There is a famous 'used book store' on Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA that undoubtedly has it. Sorry, I've forgotten the name of the place. It was a long time ago that I was there. ............. Big Cholla

Well Forget That! It is the "Harvard Book Store" and they don't have a single book reference to old John M. Either that or their 'search' function and I just don't use the same terminology. ....... Big Cholla

You want to get "John M. Browning: American Gunmaker" by John Browning and Curt Gentry. GREAT book.

Last printing was in 1994, scarce but not rare. Keep an eye on eBay and Amazon.

Just looked: There is one used copy on Amazon right now for just $3 over cover price.

I just googled it and there are other sites with it in stock as well.

Excellent book; a relatively quick read, but well worth it.
