Lowest S&W Serial #'s (4 digit or less)
I would like to propose a new thread of low serial numbers (4 digit or less) of S&W revolvers, all models included, antique to modern. Unfortunately, I don't have one to enter, but I love to see these guns and am looking for some to purchase. Let's see them. I know that there are some 2 and 3 digit ones in the hands of some forum members. I am not sure that I have ever seen a single digit piece.

Hmmm.
OK, M1953 kit gun #666 - the devil's gun
(My buddy Joe has 237)
Centennial #157
K22s #K155 and K166 (but not as low as Drew's)
Its a fun exercise, but many early guns were just early in the sequence for them. Meaning other guns got in the way.

22/32 Heavy Frame Targets DON'T COUNT
22/32 Heavy Frame Targets DON'T COUNT.
They were inter mixed in an existing run of numbers.
Some did have numbered grips that were never more than four digits.

Well, I guess I really don't have S&W Baby Chief Specials serial numbers 54 & 117 then. They sure looked real the last time I looked at them though. (I'll try to re-learn to post pictures here again).

Not as low as some posts, but the S&W 9mm Automatic Pistol is SN 2298 and the Model 41 is SN 9981. Both are in the same number series; the one for automatic pistols, that startred at 1000. I've seen lower numbered 41s but not 9mms.

OK. I know I'm a little late to the party, and it's not a revolver. But, here's my latest acquisition; a S&W 4006 S/N TFH0666. Now, if someone will explain just how to upload an image to this forum; I will.
