She would want me to point out that she has lost about 35 lbs since these were taken early this year.
L to R; Daughter, Nephew's wife, and Niece discussing firearms and technique. Notice the muzzle control.
More pictures of the girls shooting back in January.

Here is my oldest daughter shooting her first pistol competition two years ago. She liked this picture enough that she used it as her homework binder cover, best part was her teachers loved it - that's the nice part of private school, a lot less namby-pambiness amongst the educators.
this year my youngest starts with the revolver competition, having graduated from the air rifle matches. I'll have to find one of her and get it loaded.

Here are a couple more. First will be the oldest shooting a 6" Model 15 last year during her competition.
Next up is my youngest daughter shooting during the air rifle match last year.
and her showing off her 200 X 14 match winning target after we got back to the hotel. we couldn't get the shot at the range due to a heavy thunder storm that blew through just as the match was wrapping up.

My oldest, Sarah. Taken about three years ago after I modified her Single Six to a birds head grip so it would fit her hand better.

No images, but my daughter went through a Gunsite course when she was 16. She didn't learn to drive till she was 18.
Guess it was a matter of what was more important.

Daughter & 460
She didn't need me behind her, but that was the 1st shot and I was leery. She outshot all of the men, including myself, that day.

You know, I got individual pics with each of her brothers behind the gun, too. Didn't occur to me to get a group pic, though. If i had, it would definitely be the Christmas card this year.

The minigun pic is the best so far. They're all great though!

It is a really nice setup. I was worried that it might throw off the balance, but it actually improved it. Bought the stainless steel frame from Midway and fitted it in about 45 minutes.

Best response I've gotten to the minigun pic:

This is my daughter she was in Iraq with the Army for 13 months. She was the only female SAW gunner in the company and was the company commander's personal humvee gunner.

Well after looking through some pictures here on the computer I realize that I don't take many pictures of her with a gun. So here's one and then a few of the results of her shooting.
We're heading to Africa in 3 weeks so I'm gonna have to remember to get the gun in some photos!
Alberta Mule Deer
Alberta Moose
Some of the critters on the wall in her house and there are several others!

Both of my boys love shooting, but I thought this shot of my daughter was pretty cool. Pardon the Glock.....but in her defense, she had just finished up a box of .44 mags in a model 29. She's the one that shot the big hog I posted a couple of weeks ago.

I bought our daughter her first gun (a Marlin 15YN, bolt action, single shot .22 youth rifle) when she was five.
Here she is shooting it when she was 12:
Here's Lightning Lauren at one of last year's Cowboy Action Shoots:
Here she is trap shooting with her great grandfather's Browning Double Automatic:

After looking at the pic, kinda wondering if she carries that in a strong side or cross draw holster.

this is my oldest's first time shooting a hand gun on her own. i've helped her every time up until then, so she was a little nervous. it's a shield 9, and she is a lefty. ear protection came after the pic. she wanted a "shooting" pic without the "ugly things".
at around 25 ft, this was the first shot. she was proud of that first shot so she wanted a new target so she could keep this one.

This is truly delightful.....
I'm green with envy. I always wanted a daughter, and a daughter that shoots is a double blessing.
