Fourth of July Carry Contest//winner announced
I think to celebrate independence day we should all carry a classic S&W on the fourth. I plan to carry this cool old .32he:
Post your 4th of July favorite, I will make a $32 donation to the board in the name of the best entrant, based on my unbiased (ha ha) opinion.
OK-IGGY wins by hitting the soft spot in my heart for K-22s. The donation will be made in his name. Thanks all for playing.

It's gonna be hotter-n-a-hog here in Iowa so I really shouldn't but maybe I'll tote my 4 screw 2" M12. Hate to sweat on it though.
If I could wear a sweatshirt I'd carry my 5 screw 38/44 Heavy Duty that I used to renew my carry permit.
I love being a dinosaur.
Have a safe and happy Independence Day.

If I receive my milt sparks PMK in time I will carry my no dash, pinned and recessed 2 1/2"model 66. I don't know if its considered "classic"but anyhow, that's my plan.

My 625-6 will be in a sourdough pancake holster. I'll more than likely be on my H-D nighttrain. Some 255's at a thou should make a nice deterent if needed. Not a classic, but a fine S&W to bet my life on. Happy Independence Day.

I will be down at the cabin so I will be wearing my old 53 Kit Gun on my hip with the first two chambers loaded with shot shells.

Good idea. I may take my old Heavy Duty to the range. It has been awhile since I shot it.

In honor of my dad, who loved celebrating the 4th, I, as usual, will be wearing his Pre-model 30, nickel plated, .32, made in 1954-55.

OK, I'll play. I'll carry my 3" M37, though it's not quite a "classic".

About as classic as I can get. 39 vintage OD
I'm headed out to wander through a Cowboy Action Shoot this morning. I reckon I'll strap this one on just to get into the mood of the thing.

conflicts with current plans, unfortunately.
My neighborhood traditionally lights up like the Tet offensive.
Last year the smoke from all the fireworks reduced visibility to about 150 feet.
in the spirit of local tradition I intend to drink some Sam Adams till a good buzz is felt, plug in a raced out vintage '86 B.C. Rich Warlock into my 300+Watt amp Via the full wrath of as many tone bending effects as will cooperate, Put on my Marvin the Martian shirt, take hold of the bar on the Floyd Rose and do what comes natural like ...
Hopefully the missus wont have to throw my bail

I think I'll carry my M38, one of the former MI State Police guns, with the stainless cylinder.
These days I usually carry it anyway.
If I go to the woods or to the range I'll add one of my N-frames.

Don't have access to it right now to take a picture but everyone knows what they look like. I will carry my 1953 4" M & P. It's about as "Classic" as I can get right now. It has a bunch of holster wear but shoots like a dream since a total rebuild of the internals.
Class III
P.S. Thanks for making a contribution to the forum, no matter who gets selected. It ain't cheap to keep the lights on and the doors open.

OK. I'll carry this 4-screw Model 10 (no dash) in a vintage carved holster at least part of the day.
Then, I'll shift to a flat-latch Model 36 in a pants pocket for the rest of the day.
