Very Rare Left-Handed Revolver

Can't say much. We had a couple of deaths in Jax yesterday. But I doubt that is a S&W at all. Back of the cylinder looks like a Colt. But the cylinder release is maybe a older Taurus. It could just be Photoshop type mirroring of an image.

I did some Googling and I still have no idea. I found a reference to Charter making a lefty but that looks nothing like a Charter.

is it possibly a mirror image? ive seen media and others do that with images or even video. maybe the writer liked the way it looked better then the original photo
 
Kind of a funky recoil shield cut-out pattern on it.

Maybe it's Rahm's gun,,a special order thing for a special kinda guy.
Sounds like he has things well under control there now.

That is the very rare Astra Barney Fife Commerative Model, left hand variant. Six charge holes, holds only one round. Only a few were made. Reportedly, Andy kept taking them away from their owners when they loaded them.

The case has been made that the Single Action Army was designed for a left hander. A lefty doesn't have to change hands to reload.
 
It's a flipped photo. It's done all the time so that a gun points into the photo instead of out. Artists control, not gun fanciers. No respect for technical accuracy at all.
