Can't help but like some of his movies, "Hombre" with Newman and Richard Boone being a favorite, and without a doubt, he was a generous humanitarian. That said, he did have a dark side with his left wing political views and support of the Brady bunch, PETA, and a host of other unsavory left wing groups. Typical Hollywierd hypocrisy....Anti gun politics but it was OK for him to become wealthy starring in shoot 'em up movies.

Every time I think of Paul Newman, I think of that line from some comedian (Paul Rodriguez, maybe?):
"I was in the grocery store and saw Paul Newman's picture on a bottle of salad dressing. What, is he missing now, too?"
