The company I work for has some rolls of obsolete rubber belts stored there. On average these are 5/16” to ½” thick, 5’ wide and 30’ long. They have no cords or belts, just cured rubber. At this point we probably have 25 of these things and I’ve been tasked with clearing them out. None of the tire recyclers I’ve talked to want them because their machines are designed to chop tires, not belts.
If these were here in Ohio I’d offer them to schools or weight room floor mats, shooting ranges for backstops, and farm supply stores for truck bed liners and horse stall mats. However the dumb things are in California, not Ohio.
If anyone can has a legitimate use for these AND can transport them yourself e-mail me. At this point you could probably get them for a generous donation to this forum.
