Next week will be the first day of Fall.

May favorite season living up here in New England, today it is a beautiful day, 70 degrees, Dry and Sunny.

Soon up in this neck of the woods we will be biting into cold fresh Macintosh apples that just suck your cheeks in.

Last call for the local farms on corn and fresh veggies.
The pumpkins have already appeared for sale, and soon several Fairs will be in full swing.

A light jacket and the crisp air seems to rejuvenate life.

So how about other parts of the country, you guys ready?

I grew up outside of Boston and this was always my favorite time of year. I worked on a farm in the 60's with 360 acres of apple trees. One of my jobs was pressing the apples to make fresh cider which attracted every bee in the county. The mash was then fed to the horses. I have never been happier than I was on the farm.
