"Top Shot" on History Channel Tue Aug 30
This is a shameless self promotion:
The Tuesday Aug 30 “Top Shot” show on History Channel will feature two 1877 Bulldog Gatling Guns furnished and serviced by R&R Exotic Machines. That’s my business partner Robert and me. We’re licensed firearm ‘experts’ specializing in machine guns and unusual firearms. The show is an elimination challenge, so you’ll see lots of great Gatling Gun action! I won’t be on camera; my job was moving, set-up, instruction, servicing, and keeping the guns bright ‘n shiny. We had a great time, the competitors and crew were a pleasure to work with, and I am looking forward to seeing the super slo-mo shots.
The Gila Bender has gone Hollywood!

I saw a Gatling in .30 Government (.30-40 Krag) shot once.
It had the Bruce feed and made a lot of stuff happen downrange.
The owner traced it's history and the gun may have been in Cuba with Roosevelt in the Spanish-American War. It had a lot of the correct accessories with it too.
Also looking forward to seeing the Gatlings on Top Shot.

The DVR is programmed to record it (so I can fast forward through all the in house "discussions").

I hear ya!
I watch it on Wednesday - Skipping the *drama* and commercials.
In fact that's how I watch most stuff now. The bad part is that now I never know to tell my doctor which medicine I NEED.

Does "blue" team have a practice regimen for gatling guns? Maybe they will hold up an entire bag of golf clubs...

We had one here in Ramona for our Cowboy Day shindig last year. It was converted to .308 so it could fire readily available blanks.
It was a hoot to shoot but I really would have liked to fire live ammo & kick up some dust.
The workmanship on those old guns has to be seen.
